Donate Your Gently Used Dancewear!
Please drop off donations at Studio Danse Chelsea before Thursday, September 3 at 5:00 p.m., or bring them with when you come by to shop.
At Danse Chelsea Dance, we believe that arriving at the studio ready to dance should be simple and enjoyable. That’s why we offer a flexible, non-gendered dress code so every dancer can feel comfortable and confident in class.
You can purchase dancewear—including bodysuits, tights, shorts, tanks and skirts, and DCD merchandise—through our online store in the Parent Portal or in person at the studio. If you have any questions about dancewear, please contact Catrina at dansechelseadance@gmail.com.
Orders placed online before August 25th will be available for pick-up during the swap and shop, as well as during the first week of classes.
We also carry a great selection of dancewear and merchandise in our studio store throughout the year.

Dance Attire Recommendations for All Dancers
General Guidelines
Bodysuit and Tights: We recommend choosing a black bodysuit and black tights if you plan to purchase only one set. Black is commonly used as a base for many of our Spring Show costumes.
Footless or Convertible Tights: Ensure your tights are either footless or convertible. This provides flexibility for dancing in bare feet when necessary.
For Younger Children
Attire: Avoid large tutus or princess dresses, as they can be distracting during class. A simple ballet skirt is acceptable if desired, but not required.
Company Dancers Required Attire:
An all-black bodysuit or tank top
Convertible tights or shorts
Purpose: This ensures that choreographers have a blank slate, minimizing distractions from colors and patterns. Thank you for your cooperation!
