COVID Protocols
Chelsea Dance is following the health and safety measures set by the government; we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this ever-changing situation.
Current Covid-19 Class Protocol (Last updated: March 7, 2022):
If a student has any symptoms of COVID-19, the student is not permitted to attend class.
All students should come dressed, ready for class. Students will require a dance bag for their dance shoes, a water bottle (please fill at home so that you do not leave the studio) and this bag will remain with the student in a designated area in the studio.
Everyone entering and exiting the studios will be required to use hand sanitizer (it will be provided).
All participants aged 13 and over must present their Vaccination Passport prior to the start of your first class. This screening will be done outside the building. A DCD staff will be at the there to assist this process so please prepare accordingly. (UPDATE: will no longer be required as of March 14th, 2022)
Only students and instructors are allowed to enter DCD studios at this time. For children’s classes your instructor will meet all children outside and escort them in and out of the building as a group.
Mask Protocol –
- Currently masks are mandatory for all instructors as well as participants aged 10 and up.
- Class participants aged 9 and under are not required to wear masks during dance class.
- Everyone is highly recommended to wear a mask during class.
Classes have been designed to respect social distancing whenever possible.
We have staggered start and end times to reduce the number of students entering and exiting the building at one time and will be using multiple entry points.
If Chelsea Dance is required to suspend in-studio classes due to an Emergency Declaration or other required closure(s), all dance classes will be offered at a later date.
